The magic of Summit Studios

I've know Darren Mahuron from Summit Studios for about a year now and let me tell you, not too many people work as hard as this guy. He's told me stories of hiking through hills carrying tables, chairs, lighting and camera equipment, all to find the perfect place for a shoot. I've seen him pull 12 hour days, one after the other, just to hear he went home and worked some more. I tell you this because when you look below and begin to gasp in awe you will ask yourself, "how did this guy get so good?" The answers are above. Yes, Darren and wife Lisa have a great amount of natural talent, but talent alone will get you nowhere. It takes lots of work, tons of dedication, sleepless nights, and grueling days. The fruits of these labors are evident in the following images. Now, feast your eyes on the greatness of Summit Studios.

These are some pieces from Darren and Lisa Mahuron's "Bonnie and Clyde" series.

"Federal Reserve"

"The Vault"

"TNT"

"Pursuit"

"The Pool Hall"

"Exit Wound"

"The Getaway"

Right about now you are wondering where you can see more, or inquire about purchasing fine art prints and mounted prints of Summit Studios' work, right? Of course we won't leave you hanging on that one. If you want to see work in person, Summit Studios is located at 107 Linden Street in Fort Collins, CO. The studio is open to the public each 1st Friday of the month from 6-10pm or other times by appointment. If you can't get to Fort Collins, just go to the website and Myspace below to contact Darren and Lisa for commissions, commercial work, and fine art.
